When and where?
Nordic Stuttering Seminar will be held from the 2nd of September until 4th of September 2022 at Hotel Krapi, Tuusula, Finland. Hotel Krapi is located on the eastern shore of Lake Tuusula, at the crossing of museum road Rantatie and Tuusulantie. The distance to Helsinki-Vantaa airport is 15 km and 30km to the city centre of Helsinki.
The Hotel Krapi is a family owned business with long traditions from the beginning of 20th century. Krapi is passionate about delicious Finnish food with good company. Therefore, during the seminar, you have a chance to explore traditional Finnish food culture with your friends, or as we call them, with your ‘stutterships’.
Our accommodations are located in the Onnela region and our seminar venues and dining area are partly located in the region of Krapi.
How to get there?
We’ll have a private bus departing straight from the airport – the direct bus connection will only take 20 minutes. More information about the schedule will be sent to the participants.
The location is also really easy to reach by public transportation. We’ll cover you with all the details after you have registered!
Program
This year’s theme for the seminar is stuttering and friendship, ‘Celebrate Your Stutterships’. The program has been created according to the theme: making new stuttering friends, getting to know your own stutter better, creating new memories with your friends by experiencing together Finnish cuisine and visiting a sauna at the shore of Lake Tuusula.

Optional excursion after the seminar
After the seminar, there will be a possibility to attend an excursion of 2 or 3 days with an extra fee. The excursion group visits Finnish sights with the good company of the other participants. The leaders of the excursion are representatives of Finnish Stuttering Association. The excursion will be organized if there will be enough participants. More details about the sights, accommodation and prices will be announced later.

Early bird prices were valid until 31st of May 2022. Registration is possible until 10th of August 2022. At this moment all the places are taken, but you can fill the registration form (link is below) and we will contact you if there will be free spaces due cancellations.

Participation fee includes accommodation either in a shared twin room or in a single room, all meals (breakfast only for hotel guests), program, and transport to the hotel. Alcoholic beverages are not included in the seminar price.
